Let's plan your project
Is my kitchen right for refacing?

Refacing is worth exploring when your cabinet boxes are structurally sound and you want to keep the layout. Check for water damage, loose joints, and damaged mounting areas first. If the boxes or layout need changing, discuss those repairs before ordering fronts.

Do I need to replace my cabinet boxes?

No. The idea is to work with sound existing boxes. New doors and drawer fronts change the visible face of the kitchen; exposed sides and frames may need matching material or a compatible painted finish.

What should I measure before ordering?

Start with a labelled list of each existing door and drawer front. Record width and height separately, along with hinge positions and any exposed panels. Follow the ordering guide for your selected system and confirm measurements before an order is placed.

Can I do the project myself?

ReKast is built around a DIY approach. The work includes careful measuring, preparing surfaces, and fitting fronts and hardware. Review the process, assess your tools and experience, and ask for help where your project needs it.

How do I choose a finish?

Look at a physical sample in your kitchen in daylight and in the evening. Compare it against the worktop, floor, walls, and hardware. Screen colours are a starting point, and actual finishes can look different in your home.
